Norwegian Scenic Route Gaularfjellet runs between Sande and Balestrand and between Moskog and Balestrand. The road follows te Gaula river with wild rapids and 29 waterfalls.

Explore the beautiful Sognefjord by boat. The boats with a 25hp engine, are especially suitable for fishing, sightseeing and water sports. The boats are moored at ‘Wærholm havn’, just outside Lavik.

Island Hopping to Solund, Bulandet, and Værlandet is a trip to the westernmost islands in Norway. Traveling by the local post boat you will get close to the unique scenery and the everyday life of the people living on the islands.

On your way up to Vik you travel with the express boat. In Vik you can visit the ‘Hopperstad stave church’. For the return trip you travel with the local postal service boat ‘MS Lysefjord’.

Bicycle route, 11 km. to the Massnes Wilderness museum. This is a privately owned museum with a variety of taxidermy animals that can be found in the Norwegian wilderness.

Huldefossen is one the most photographed waterfalls in Fjord Norway. About 90 meter long fall. At Mo, by E39, 10 km from Førde.

Sunnfjord Museum, the open-air museum displays cultural heritage and everyday life from the inner Sunnfjord villages. Total of 32 historical buildings. Indoor cultural heritage exhibitions.
